Undergraduate Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates
- Five O'level credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
- Minimum UTME score of 140 (subject to change based on national policy)
- Relevant subject combination for chosen course of study
- Must select Taraba State University as first or second choice institution
- Successful completion of Post-UTME screening
Direct Entry Candidates
- NCE (minimum merit pass) in relevant subjects
- OND (minimum upper credit) in relevant discipline
- A'level passes in relevant subjects
- Five O'level credits including English and Mathematics
- Successful completion of Direct Entry screening
Postgraduate Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Minimum of Third Class degree or HND (Lower Credit)
Master's Degree (M.Sc / M.A)
- Bachelor's degree with at least Second Class Lower division
- PGD with minimum of Upper Credit for candidates without relevant background
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D)
- Master's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale
- Research proposal in the intended area of study
- Satisfactory performance in the entrance examination/interview
Distance Learning Admission Requirements
Distance Learning Programme
- Five O'level credits including English and Mathematics
- Minimum UTME score or work experience for mature candidates
